GB Golden Lady is sired by GAY BAR O LENA 2-time APHA Reining World Champion and sire of multiple APHA World Champion performers. His sire, DELTA OLENA, is an APHA World Champion Calf Roping Horse with ROMs in Cutting and Working Cow Horse, NCHA money earner and the sire of APHA World Champions.
“Goldie’s” first dam, Nu Golden Lady is sired by GOLD DOC BAR with NCHA earnings of $102,511.76, finished second in the 1984 NCHA Cutting Horse Derby and sired numerous performers, NCHA and NRHA money earners.
Second dam, Delta Lady is sired by the great by DELTA FLYER with NCHA earnings of $260,213 and was the 1986 NCHA Open Super Stakes Champion, and the sire of multiple APHA World Champions, NCHA and NRHA money earners. “Goldie" is the dam of 2005 tobiano filly, EASTER BY STORM, by MR STORMY FLYER (Delta Flyer x Lenas Sabrina, Doc O’lena).
We purchased "Goldie" from Texas in 2004 to compliment our QTs Okie Cowboy. She came in foal and with an incredibly athletic, classy tobiano filly at her side. The beautiful filly, EASTER BY STORM, was purchased as a reined cow horse prospect and is in professional training in 2007. "Goldie" then delivered the darling colt, GUY OLENA, for us in 2006. What a surprise that was! Creme body, two blue eyes and a smoky orange mane and tail! This colt has perfect conformation, a huge hip and his dam’s pretty face. "Goldie" is 6 years old now. We left her open after having three foals in a row at such a young age. She is sound and a beautiful moving athletic horse. She will be put back into training with our resident trainer and go show a little after her 2007 colt by QTs Okie Cowboy is weaned. She will be bred back to our Qts Okie Cowboy in the future.
